Darshan

Aarti is the devotional waving of diyas to the moortis of God. When one either performs or does darshan with aarti and listens to words of the aarti being sung, one naturally remembers with devotion, the glory of God. All moortis are dressed with beautiful clothing. Devotees can attend the various pujas performed throughout the year. These videos give a sample of the live recordings of the pujas.

Testimonials

Hindu Dharma and its followers

Hinduism is a basic set of rules and beliefs followed by Hindus. Over the years there have been many philosophers and leaders who preached its rules and beliefs. Some of the testimonials provided, express what Hinduism stands for.

“Hindu religion does not consist in struggles and attempts to believe a certain doctrine or dogma, but in realizing not in believing, but in being and becoming.”

Swami Vivekananda

“Hinduism has made marvelous discoveries in things of religion, of the spirit, of the soul. We have no eye for these great and fine discoveries. We are dazzled by the material progress that Western science has made. Ancient India has survived because Hinduism was not developed along material but spiritual lines.”

Mahatma Gandhi

“India is the meeting-place of the religions and among these Hinduism alone is by itself a vast and complex thing, not so much a religion as a great diversified and yet subtly unified mass of spiritual thought, realization and aspiration.”

Good temple for people living in Hamilton. Accessible and even best for small gatherings like baby shower.
I recently visited the Hindu Samaj Temple, and I was thoroughly impressed. Here are some highlights:

Cleanliness: The temple premises were impeccably clean. It’s refreshing to see a place of worship maintained so well.

Spacious Parking: The temple boasts a huge parking area, which is a rarity in busy places. No stress about finding a spot!

Idols of Gods and Goddesses: The idols inside the temple are exquisite. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail are awe-inspiring.

Peaceful Atmosphere: Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, the temple offers a serene escape. The quiet ambiance allows for introspection and tranquility.

Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Hindu Samaj Temple. Whether you seek spiritual solace or simply want to appreciate the beauty of Hindu art, this temple won’t disappoint. 🙏🕉️

The temple is located in the outskirts of Hamilton. It's good as it's peaceful but to reach by bus I'm sure it will be difficult. Ample of parking space but I think if it will get busy then it will be tough to find a spot.

Outside of the temple needs lots of work and renovation. But insde it's very clean and neat. You must visit this temple as it's very quite and very well managed + you have a very large hall beneath where you can organize part or function of 50 + people.

I have attached photos of all the deities which you can find there ans also provisions for havan is available.
