Maha Shivratri in Person and Live Streaming

Hindu Samaj Temple cordially invites you and your family and friends to celebrate Maha Shivratri Festival with continuous bhajans and offering of Milk and Bilva Patra.
Temple will stay open all day from 8.00 am Friday the 8th of March 2024 until 2.00 am the next day Saturday the 9th of March 2024.
Pooja includes Abhishekam, Chanting of Rudram, Shiv Vivah, Maha Mrantunjya Japam, Archana, Aarti and Prasad.
Program on Friday 8th March 2024, is as follows:
a) Shiv Pooja from 8 am to 4 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm.
b) Lord Ganesh ji’s and Kartik Bhagwan’s Pooja 4 PM to 5 PM
c) Char Pahar (4 hour) poojas start at 10 pm on the hour. Pahar pujas will be conducted by the priests only.
Individual Shiv Poojas available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Subsequently, devotees can pour milk and offer Bhel Patra.
PLEASE AVOID LINEUPS BY PERFORMING YOUR ABHISHEK
EARLY STARTING AT 8:00 AM.
Priests will enable maximum number of devotees from 5 pm. to 9 pm.
Snacks and Tea will be served from 2:00 PM onwards.
Priti Bhoj from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pritibhoj carry out containers will also be made available for efficient operation. This gives all devotees a chance of offering of Milk and Bilva Patra.

2) Tarlochan and Ninder Chhina,
3) Satpal and Simmi Rehan
4) Manu and Soni Sood, Chandni Contractor and family,
5) Chandie Singh and Nadeira Singh
There will not be any puja by devotees after 8:00 pm. Devotees can stay & watch the Pujas as long as there are not more people than the allowed limit.
We are looking for additional Yajmans for the Maha Shivratri.

A $20 donation is suggested for the pooja platter.
MAHA SHIVRATRI IS THE TEMPLE’S MOST ATTENDED RELIGIOUS EVENT.
Please share rides and stay in the temple for a short duration so other can get a chance to participate in the pooja.
